Program Description
Two large efforts that provide significant educational opportunities for individuals involved with small scale farms are:

Annual Agriculture and Natural Resources Week program which includes workshops and seminars in packaging fresh produce, small flock poultry management, beekeeping, and dairy goat management.
Integrated Farming Systems' Program tries out ideas for moving towards greater sustainability. Issues such as direct marketing of farm produce, transfer of development rights, model farm stewardship plan are being addressed.
