  Rural Community Assistance Program

Program Description
RCAP's mission is to empower and assist rural people to improve the quality of life in their communities. RCAP and its regional partners help to connect rural communities, as well as Native American and tribal communities, with the resources they need to obtain the quality of life they want and to meet the requirements of federal laws and regulations. RCAP and its partners also offer information on what resources are available and how other communities have solved similar problems. RCAP partners provide
hands-on technical assistance to rural communities as they work to meet their needs. RCAP also serves as the rural community's advocate in regulatory proceedings and in rural associations and coalitions.
