American Indian Movement
ContentProgram Description AIM works to restore the civil and human rights of indigenous peoples throughout the hemisphere. AIM was born in the late 1960s, when people of color were still separated from White America by many barriers. Today, through survival schools and the International Indian Treaty Council, AIM unites people of color in struggles to fight environmental racism and re-educate the Americas to the rights of indigenous peoples and their lands, resources and families.
