Program Description
The Kentucky State University Cooperative Extension Program's Small Farm Program in cooperation with the University of Kentucky enrolls farmers in an intensive, one-on-one educational program which focuses on production, farm management, alternatives, marketing, land use, and sustainable agriculture. Kentucky State University offers a monthly sustainable agriculture and risk management workshop “The Third Thursday Thing” on the third Thursday of every month from January through November at the Kentucky State University Research Farm.
